• Hello!  My name is Amy McIntosh and I will be serving hot lunches this year at Whitefield Academy.  To find out a little bit more about me and my hot lunch program, please visit the “About” page on this website.

    To order lunches, please fill out an order form (these are usually attached to “This Week at Whitefield”  or available in the school office).  Or you may take a look at the menu on this website and e-mail me at mcintosh_mail@yahoo.com with any orders.  I will accept cash or checks made out to Amy McIntosh.  Thank you so much and I look forward to serving you and your children!

    Monday, August 24:

    • Lunch meat roll ups: ham and cheese with lettuce on a whole wheat wrap.
    • Fresh fruit salad
    • veggies and ranch dip

    Tuesday, August 25:

    • Homemade macaroni and cheese. (I use the “sneaky chef” method and add cauliflower and butternut squash puree).
    • All beef hot dog (these will NOT make a regular appearance)
    • Fresh fruit salad

    Thursday, August 27:

    • Organic PB and J: on homemade, whole wheat bread.
    • Organic, low fat vanilla yogurt
    • Veggies and dip

    Mon, Aug. 31:

    • Turkey Tacos:  made with whole wheat tortillas, cheese and lettuce.  Herdez salsa will be available
    • Refried black beans
    • Oranges (clementines)

    Tues, Sept. 1:

    • Spaghetti Pie:  prepared with whole wheat noodles, organic spaghetti sauce and cheese
    • Salad:  with slice carrots and tomatoes and tossed with italian dressing
    • Bananas and Strawberries

    Thur, Sept. 3:

    • Turkey Sloppy Joes:  another Sneaky Chef recipe.  This one includes a zucchini, cauliflower puree.  served on a whole wheat bun
    • Green beans:  these beans were picked fresh from my own garden!  I toss them with a little greek dressing and saute them in the skillet, yum!
    • Apple Slices
